Flight Lieutenant Rakesh Chauhan Trust (RaksTrust) Update

2018 has been an important year for The Flight Lieutenant Rakesh Chauhan Trust (RaksTrust). The trust celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Dambusters Raid by reaching a total of £18,000 donated to the East Midlands Air Ambulance Service following monies raised from last year’s Dambusters Challenge.

The trust also saw the completion of it’s 4th annual event – The Fan Dance (taking 70 people on the SAS training grounds in the Brecon Beacons) as well as the launch of a new project for the Trust raising £24,000 to fund a fully equipped off-road ambulance. This ambulance will be donated to a grass roots charity in Malawi called Love Support Unite (LSU) LSU was started by 2 sisters from Rothley, Leicestershire.

The trust will be running it’s fifth event in 2019 taking walkers up Helvellyn via Striding Edge in the Lake District. If you wish to support the trust then please use the link below.
